Rompin is a small
township on the southern end of Pahang,
Malaysia. It is located within the district of Rompin. The Rompin River
flows through the town. The Endau Rompin National Park is partly situated
within the Rompin district.
The town of Rompin is known for its recreational fishing. From the months
of March to November, prime Sailfish season, anglers from all over the
world travel to Rompin to try their luck with the famous billed fish.
