Kabong is a
town in Saratok District in Betong Division, Sarawak, east Malaysia.
Kabong town is strategically located and potential become a
commercial center that serves as a distribution center to the surrounding
areas, because the town is located in Batang Krian and can become a major
transit port.
Agriculture
is the main source of income for peoples here. The main agricultural
products are coconuts where smallholders will sell coconut oil (old) and
dried coconut (copra) to wholesalers for processing in
Sarikei.
Kembang
Tanjung Beach, Coastal and Beach Alit Gerigat in Kabong has a long and
clean beach which is ideal for picnics, recreation, festivals and
recreation.
